Upton powers D-Backs past Reds

Harang struggles













Justin Upton hit a two run homer, and the Arizona Diamondbacks roughed up right hander Aaron Harang in his first spring training start on Tuesday, pulling away to a 10-4 victory over the Reds in Goodyear.


Upton, who got a six year, $51 million dollar deal last week, also singled home a run and his two run shot came off reliever Matt Maloney.


Harang, already named to start his fifth straight season opener, lasted only 1 1-3 innings. He gave up four hits. including three doubles and walked one, allowing three runs overall.  Maloney went only 2-3 inning giving up four runs.


Jay Bruce and Ryan Hanigan hit solo homers for the Reds.


Mike Lincoln goes for the Reds Wednesday afternoon at 3:05pm as they face the Los Angeles Angels in Tempe.
